Kimiya Sho

Kimiya is a journalist with a knack for innovative storytelling. She has lived across four continents working in digital, television, print and virtual media. In 2018, she moved to West Africa to help the BBC World Service expand its programming in the region. She was a part of the core team recruited to launched the global Olympic Channel in 2016. She has been across seven editions of the Olympic Games (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018), including the inaugural summer and winter Youth Olympic Games (2010, 2012). Kimiya was the first "IOC Young Reporter" in a pilot program during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. She holds a Specialized Journalism M.A. in Sport and Society from the University of Southern California (earned on a USC Annenberg Fellowship). She is fluent in English and French, and also speaks Farsi (Persian). She can order a latte flawlessly in Spanish. Olé!
